The image is very dark. Black and white. Darker on the bottom, becoming whiter towards the top.
At the bottom left corner a haloed figure prays. Upper left is the impression of a skull. Eye and nasal sockets, with one eye. The eye is odd. Perhaps it is a moon. The upper right corner holds a large cathedral.
All else is a sort of honeycomb.
I'm afraid this card gives me no feeling at all. It is stark, lacking the luxurious colors present in much of the deck.
My eyes are drawn first to the cathedral, which occupies the lightest quadrant of the card, and then to the eye-moon of the skull. The praying figure almost lost in the darkness of the bottom of the card.
Even the title, which I had to look up, did not help me.
Darkness.
Great.
