A woman is on a cross - though not visibly bound to it in any way. She holds 2 staves - two more are hooked onto them. The fifth lies broken at her feet.
Bodies lie all around her. One, with a Jesus-like face, almost leans against her thigh, for support. A few white feather almost make a halo around his head. (like the crown of thorns?) A few ghostly arms seem to point her way.
She is smiling. Triumphant.
She has Overcome. Faced tragedy, but still stands proudly. Even the fallen look upon her as protector and savior.
